If they team up with a TT manufacturer and install a battery under its floor for additional miles then I’m in.

It's a $100 refundable deposit to reserve... anyone can come up with that.

Remember when the Model 3 deposit was $1000 and hundreds of thousands cancelled?

More smoke and mirrors by Elon, to make it look like people actually want one of these disasters.

The bulletproof glass doesn’t work. That’s something I will need if I don’t stop buying stuff.

My neighbor here in the RV park has a Tesla S3 battery in his Grand Design FW. Says it's 250 AH at 24v. Of course that's 500 AH when stepped down to 12v. That's like almost 10 of my Group 27 AGM's. Says he can run the AC off of it. He bypassed the (metered) 50A on the pedestal and plugged in to the un-metered 110v utility outlet for the charger.

That’s crafty. Kind of surprised more batteries won’t run an RV AC. My wife’s car has the goofy auto engine stop thing when at a long light, If I forget to turn it off, even on a hot day, the AC will run off just the battery for quite a while.

Delorian revisited. Sorry but that is not my cup of tea or can of alcohol which I would need hourly to have one of those.

He made the mistake of showing a video of it pulling an F150 up a hill...... Momma always told me, let a sleeping dog lie! Once again he doesnt compare apples to apples, and he awoke the sleeping dog. Does he actually believe he can build a better truck than the blue oval.

On the truck forums they say companies like UPS, FedEX etc will buy them up to use as city delivery vehicles. That kind of makes sence with low maintenance, no fuel costs. Just bring them back and charge it up for the next day.

With all due respect sir...Cause that doesn't cost anything and has zero carbon footprint.

Yeah not necessarily my personal opinion but it would have a reduced carbon footprint.

What did they do? Photocopy a Pontiac Aztec? We all know how well that sold. Always included in lists of 10 ugliest cars.

I wonder what the range on it will be and if it will recharge on a standard 120 volt plug. If not, I don't see it as very functional as I doubt if many of the RV parks will be in much of a hurry to install 220 power lines. Also concerned with battery life/replacement cost and how much/how long it will tow over mountains and in adverse conditions.
