Finished up today. Everything works as it should.

I did learn something new however, I didn't know that the 4th generation Rams had a release tab for the gear shift in case of interlock failure. It is located on the bottom of the steering column. I have attached a picture of the access holes from the bottom panel as well as the tab itself.

We hit 100K. Serpentine belt, all hoses, motor oil change, transmission oil, rear end oil, rear wheel bearings and seals, power steering fluid, replaced brake fluid, front diff fluid, rotated and rebalanced tires, fuel filter. Bought TPMS sensors because two of the in tire sensors failed and now monitor all tires including spares. Anyone think of anything else?

It look good, so how did you know how to put that back together, did you knew what you was doing or was you just swinging it? I would have never tackle that job not in a million years.

Did some research online and then pretty much dove in to it. I actually really enjoy working on these things.

Congrats and nice work! Now, the million-dollar question: Do you get your Ford back or are you now a Ram driver?

LOL.... The Jury is still out. She keeps telling me about how good the heated seats in the Ford feel on her way to work in the morning. We will know come Monday I guess.

Gee if you lived here in N. California, it wouldn’t be a factor. It was 99* today. What are heated seats?

I've been in your area many times. I have family in and around the Sacramento area. Worst heat I ever experienced was back in 2012 when I was attempting to play golf at a course near El Dorado Hills. I think it was 112 when we started.

As far as the heated seats are concerned, neither my '07 Ram or my wife's 2010 Ram have them. Our Sprinter and the F-150 both do. I can take them or leave them. My wife and one of my daughters have them on all them time when they are in those vehicles however.

Funny, the 112 is nothing (to me) compared to the humidity in the Midwest. That about killed me!

Speaking of the temps, this time of year in PA, we run the heat on the way to work in the morning and the air conditioning on the way home. I'm convinced that these are the worst conditions on these electrical parts. I seem to always have a failure of something during these wild temp swings in the fall.

Performed a forced regen in my driveway today using forscan lite. Love this program. Bought a bluetooth adapter and the app is on my phone.

Took it to the dealer for an oil change/inspection/tire rotation. Also, earlier in the week I got back the first oil analysis report for the 6.2L from Blackstone Labs. With just under 21K on the odometer - ~16K of that towing the camper - the analysis looks great.
